Who we are

Deminvest is a single family office dedicated to investment management with over 100 years of experience and entrepreneurship in the Brazilian market. The family ahead of the businesses worked for 84 years in the retail sector and started they journey in food retailing, through the supermarket chain Mercadorama. It all started in 1914 as a small grocery store. From then, the company became one of the main national retail brands.

In 1998, Mercadorama's operations came to be controlled by the Portuguese group Sonae, which in 2005 sold them to Walmart. Currently, the family is focused on the real estate market, specifically in the development of logistical condominiums. Through Capital Realty logistics infrastructure, it leads the sector in the southern region of Brazil.

The implementation of the family office model to manage the family business reached 20 years of activities in 2019. The family is in its 6th generation and believes that, in addition to the importance of investing efficiently, the legacy left by its predecessors must be strengthened with ethics, respect, knowledge and the duty to do things well. These are the values ​​that have brought them here and that will provide opportunities for future generations.
